Provoke Photography Policies

  • Photography is strictly limited to PROVOKE PHOTOGRAPHY staff. Private photography or video recording of our photographers or clients is not permitted.
  • The complimentary Provoke photo session is offered once per stay, per room (80–90 minutes). Additional sessions may be arranged at an extra cost.
  • Cost per photo (digital file): $25 USD. Packages are available. A minimum purchase of 12–20 photos is required (depending on the resort/season).
  • All prices apply exclusively at our home resorts. Pricing may vary when services are provided at other resorts.
  • Photo and video sessions must be scheduled on separate days.
  • Video sessions require prior reservation (at least 3 days in advance).
  • Full payment for video sessions ($1,899 USD) is required at least 3 days prior to the scheduled shoot.
  • Edited video delivery will be completed within 15 business days via email.
  • Privacy policy: Clients retain rights to their material. Provoke will delete all files 20 days after purchase.
  • Sharing material with Provoke requires written consent.
  • No additional participants may join sessions without prior written approval.
  • Sessions may be terminated at the photographer’s discretion if policies are violated.
  • Gratuities are at the client’s discretion; staff members are not permitted to request them.

Photo Session Deposit

  • A $50 USD cash deposit is required to secure your session (applied toward the final purchase).
  • The deposit is non-refundable if no photos or products are purchased after the session.
  • Cancellations require at least 3 hours’ notice to be eligible for reimbursement. Requests must be made via info@provokephotos.com or directly with Provoke staff.
  • Cancellations are only accepted through Provoke Photography personnel (Monday–Sunday, 10:00 am – 5:00 pm).
  • The deposit is non-refundable if the cancellation is not made through the proper channels or within the required timeframe.

Payment & Reimbursement

  • Prices are fixed and non-negotiable.
  • Accepted payment methods: cash (USD or MXN) and credit/debit cards (Amex, Visa, Mastercard).
  • Credit/debit card payments require a valid ID and photos of the card with sensitive numbers covered.
  • All sales are final and non-refundable.
  • No re-editing is included. Additional edits are available at $25 USD per photo or $500 USD per video.
  • Raw files are not included in any purchase.
  • Video session payments are non-refundable; however, they may be applied as a credit for up to 18 months.
  • Damaged products must be reported within 24 hours with proof. Misprints will be replaced at no cost; damages caused by the client are not covered.
  • Canvases are delivered rolled in protective cardboard tubes.

Online Sales

  • Payments are processed securely via PayPal.
  • A minimum online purchase of $100 USD is required.
  • A 6% PayPal processing fee applies.
  • Verification may take up to 24 hours. Delivery of high-resolution files will be completed within 48 hours after verification.
  • Cost per photo (online purchase): $30 USD.
  • Privacy policy: All files will be deleted 30 days after watermarked photos are sent for selection.
  • All edited purchases are final; additional re-editing fees will apply if requested.
  • Raw files are never delivered.

Shipping

  • Tracking information will be provided within 5–15 business days.
  • Canvases and photo books are shipped separately.
  • An email notification with the tracking number will be provided by the courier (DHL, FedEx, or UPS).
  • Shipping to P.O. Boxes is not available.
  • The courier is responsible for any incidents during shipment. Clients must contact the courier directly using the provided tracking number.
  • Customs authorities may retain shipments (e.g., due to content restrictions). Provoke is not responsible for reprints or reshipping in such cases.
  • Shipping and handling fees are non-refundable.

Hair & Makeup Services

  • The team will arrive at your room 10 minutes prior to the scheduled time.
  • Clients must have a clean face (no makeup) and clean, dry hair prior to the service.
  • Cost: $230 USD for Makeup & Hair or $150 USD for a single service.
  • Payment is due in cash upon completion.
  • Cancellations require at least 3 hours’ notice and must be made through the same channels as the photo session deposit.
  • A $50 USD deposit is non-refundable in the event of improper cancellation.
